（19）“And without faith it is
impossible to please Him,for he who comes to Godmust believe that He is,and
that He is a rewarder of those who seek H im.By faith Noah,Being warned by God
about things not yet seen,in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his
household, by which he condemned the world,and became an heir of the
righteousness which is according to faith.”（Hebrews
11:6,7）
Remember reading how wicked people
were!As people were becoming more wicked the LORD God was filled with
sadness.He was sorry He had made people on earth .He decided to stop all the
badness by removing all the people from the earth.
He saw that Noah was the only good man of
his time and walked with Him ,pleasing Him.God told Noth to make a big boat,
called the Ark .He was to make it with three stories or floors and many rooms
and nests on each floor .He was to use a special kind of wood and water .proof
the Ark by covering the wood inside and out with a material like tar .The Ark
,God said ,was to be 300 cubits long and fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits
high and was to have a roof and window around it near the top .He was to put
one door in the side.
Noah was to bring on the Ark his
family and two of every kind of living bird ,animal ,and creeping thing .Noah
was to bring every kind of plant for the living things and for his family to
eat .Noah obeyed and did all God told him to do .In the Bible read Genesis 6.
Some places do not have fresh fruits and vegecables during all seasons of the year. Have you tried dried raisins,dried mushroom,and dried apples,noodles and greens?What dried food do you like best?Noah and his family and the animals ate dried fruits and vegetables,They prepared these for their meals in the ark.Pretend you are on the ark.Have a family meal together. Ask someone to help you make a meal from dried fruits,vegetables,flours and other stored foods,Is the food good?
“挪亞因著信，既蒙神指示他未見的事，動了敬畏的心，預備了一隻方舟，使他全家得救。因此就定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那從信而來的義。” （希伯來書十一章七節）
還記得前面讀到人類愈來愈敗壞嗎？上帝很痛心，祂後悔在地上創造了人類。為了停止邪惡，上帝定意把所有的人從地上除去。
上帝見到挪亞是當代唯一的好人，他跟上帝有密切的交往，於是，上帝就命令挪亞造了一隻大船，叫做《方舟》。這船是用一種特別的木材造成，有三層，每層有許多大小房間和巢，裏外都抹上防水的松香，船身長三百肘，寬五十肘，高三十肘，船頂有窗戶，船邊有一個門。上帝吩咐挪亞帶領家人進到《方舟》裏，和各種牲畜、爬蟲、飛鳥也帶進船裏，又儲存各種食物，好保全他們的生命。挪亞就照上帝的指示一一做了。
有些地方不是一年四季都有新鮮的水果和蔬菜可吃，你有否試過葡萄乾、冬菇幹和蘋果幹呢？你喜歡哪一種乾糧？挪亞一家和各種動物在《方舟》裏吃的都是乾果和乾菜。
你可以試著弄點乾糧，想像自己一家住在《方舟》裏吃一頓飯，覺得好吃嗎？

（20）“Who once were disobedient,when the
patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah,during the construction a
few,that is,eight persons,were brought safely through the water .”（1
Peter 3:20）
Noah compieced the Ark,God told him to enten the Ark.He was not alone.He was to
take his family.So Noah and his wife,their three sons,Shem,Ham and Japheth,and
each son`s wife entered the a Ark.
Remember all the rooms on each floor,God sent
two of every kind of animal to the Ark.God told Noah he was to let them in the
Ark.and make them at home .God sent a male and its mate.Animals were called
clean and unclean by God.Of the clean animals seven pair of each kind entered
the Ark.Of all birds,seven pair of each kind entered,A pair of each creeping
thing on the earth came also.
Two of each unclean animal came:Two pigs,two horses
and all others.Fourteen clean animals came:fourteen sheep,fourteen chickens and
all others.When all had entered,then the LORD closed the door to the Ark.
Then God sent the water,It began to rain.No
one else could enter the Ark.All in the ark who had obeyed God and come were
safe from the rain and other water.
Two by two by two the animals came,Two unclean animals went into the Ark:1,2,Can you count by twos?2,4,6,8,10,12,14.Fourteen clean animals went into the Ark to stay with Noah and his family. What animals can you see and count? The ancestor of each one of those animals was on the Ark with Noah.Please draw a picture of sone ofyour favorite animals.In the Bible read Genesis 7：:1-16.
“就是那從前在挪亞預備方舟、神容忍等待的時候，不信從的人。當時進入方舟，借著水得救的不多，只有八個人。”（彼得前書三章二十節）
挪亞完成了《方舟》，上帝吩咐他帶領一家八口進入《方舟》，包括挪亞的妻子，三個兒子和媳婦。
《方舟》每層有很多房間，上帝命令各種動物一對對，跟挪亞上船。上帝定為潔淨的牲畜每一種七對，鳥類每一種七對，爬蟲每種一對。
上帝定為不潔淨的牲畜也來了，其中有豬和馬，每種一對，潔淨的如羊和雞，每種十四隻，全部上船後，上帝替挪亞關上船門。
於是上帝降下洪水，傾盆大雨，沒有別人能進入《方舟》。在方舟裏的因服從上帝都得以平安。
你可以想像動物一對一對地上船嗎？不潔淨的只有一對，你會數1、2，潔淨的有七對，你會數雙數嗎？2、4、6、8、10、12、14，在你想像中有哪些動物？請你畫幾隻你最喜歡的動物。

（21）“For if God…did not spare the
ancient world,but preserved Noah,a preacher of righteousness,with seven
others,when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;then the Lord
knows how to rescue the godly from temptation,and to keep the unrighteous under
punishment for the day of judgment。”（2
Peter 2:4a 5,9）
Water,water everywhere except inside the
Ark,Not a drip.No leaks,God had kept His Word,He kept Noah and his family safe
when He sent water on the earth,God caused all the fountains of the earth to
burst open and shoot water up rom inside the earth.
Tsunamis spilled onto the land. God opened
the floodgates of heaven and poured down water.Rain began to fall. Rain fell
without stopping for forty days and forty nights.
The big Ark was lifted up above the earth by
the floodwaters,The Ark floated on the water,What a big,big boat to float and
not break:It was 450 feet!138 meters)long by 75 feet(23 meters)wide by 45 feet
(about 13.8 meters)high.Everything was covered with water on the earth,ever the
tallest mountains were covered by more than 20 feet (about 7 neters)of
water.Everything on the earth died.What a sad time it was for ereryone who
refused to obey God.
Take a large piece of paper such as newspape.Draw a rectangle on it:make it 30 inches(76cm)long and 5 inches(13cm)wide.Draw a border for the walls around the rectangle 3 inches(8cm)wide.Cut a long the outer lines and then fold up the border crenthing sides.This is the boat,Make a roof for it .This is what this big Ark was like ,What a strange boat .It is like a box.It was a wonderful boat-box.It rode on the water safely.Everything and everyone in this boat-box called an Ark was kept safe.Now scientists make boats safe by using these same proportions.In the Bible read Genesis 7
“上帝也沒有寬容上古的世代，曾叫洪水臨到那不敬虔的世代，卻保護了傳義道的挪亞一家八口；……主知道搭救敬虔的人脫離試探，把不義的人留在刑罰之下，等候審判的日子。”（彼得後書二章5、9節）
水！水！除了《方舟》裏面，到處都是水，《方舟》裏卻一滴不漏，上帝的應許使挪亞一家平安。地下深淵的泉源都裂開，天空所有的水閘也都打開，海嘯沖上陸地，傾盆大雨下了四十晝夜。
洪水把《方舟》從地上漂起來，這只大船長三百肘，寬五十肘，高三十肘，在水面上漂蕩。洪水淹沒大地，使天下最高的山峰都淹沒在二十多英呎（約7公尺）的水下。地上一切有氣息的生物都死了，這是人類不服從上帝的悲慘後果。
請用一張大型的紙（例如一張報紙）在紙上畫一個長方形，長30英吋（76公分），闊5英吋（13公分），在長方形四邊加上3英吋（8公分）可摺起的牆，摺起後再加上一個蓋頂，你便有一個盒形的紙船，有點像挪亞的方舟。現代許多科學家製造船隻都應用方舟尺寸的比例。
